The car park booked, was going to be locked at 7pm and not opened until after Christmas, therefore we had to find parking on street for 3 cars

We arrived at car park and were waiting for family, who had also paid to park, when an Asda employee asked if we were ok, I explained that we had paid to park. He was surprised and told us that the barrier on the car park would be locked shortly. It’s Christmas Eve and they would lock up. Lucky for us he told us. We then had to search for on street parking, so not a good experience.

Very good parking site at Asda. Brightly lit at night and very flexible to come and go easily, and also good access to major routes avoiding the city centre. It was a 20/25 minute walk into the city centre which was fine and there are plenty buses around. Suited us fine.

definitely parking at Asda is really safe and parking Can be done whole day. However a bit walk into belgrave and city centre of Leicester around a mile 20 mins approximately. so if you plan your day properly then it's a good to go option
