Located on the outskirts of the village of Wilson, we're 5 minutes drive from East Midlands Airport and even closer to the Main Entrance of Donington Park Racing Circuit - which is an approx. 10 minute walk. Perfect for Download festival and other events at Donington Park! Due to work and children we're not able to offer airport transfers but we do recommend Village Cars, a great local taxi services which you can use as an alternative. Once you've booked you'll receive all our contact information just in case you have any queries but once you’re on Slade Lane, look for our house name sign on the roadside to confirm you’re in the right place! The Google Earth picture is quite out of date so don't rely on this - we've got grass, wide access for all types of vehicle and the gate is now set back from the road!

Quiet private driveway location at the end of a cul-de-sac, covered by CCTV. ·       The Airport is only a 5-10 minute drive and Donington Park is just 3-5 minutes away. ·       There is a regular (every 30 minutes 8am – 6pm and every hour throughout the night) bus service, called Skylink by Kinchbus, from the end of Park Lane (approximate 10 minute walk) and a less frequent bus that goes from the end of the road also to the Airport. Full details of all of this will be provided on booking. ·       Taxis can be booked in advance and we advise a list of companies once booked.   Garage Parking included in the above price for those arriving on motorbikes, or if you have a van / motorhome and we can accommodate you we will, please just email us first to make sure we have room. You will be parked on hard standing well away from what is a quiet road. Straightforward access from the road network and a short, easy walk to the airport bus stop. The property is a situated in what we have found to be a quiet, safe residential area. Owners normally at home during the day.  East Midlands Airport is around ten minutes away by bus/car and Donington Park (Download, motorsports etc.) around five minutes away by bus/car. The bus stop to East Midlands Airport is around a ten minute walk away where you can pick up a 24/7 bus service to Donington Park and the airport at very reasonable cost. Uber increasingly operates in the area. Buses from Castle Donington to the airport run frequently during the day but less frequently at night. Check out the Skylink website for times. At a pinch Donington Park is perhaps a half hour's walk away though please note that the airport is not walkable from anywhere in Castle Donington (and certainly not with luggage!).  All vehicles and contents left at owner's risk. Strictly no sleeping in vehicles overnight and no caravans. If you want to park a larger vehicle like a motorhome that is possible but please contact me before making a booking. Motorbikes welcome.

We offer parking on our large driveway within our secure, gated property in the village of Kegworth which is less than 2.5 miles from the airport. The electric gates are kept closed at all times (unless a parker is due). We will require you to leave your keys as the low flying planes have a habit of setting off sensitive car alarms, which can be tiresome for our neighbours. Lifts to and from the airport are charged @ £5.00 each way, these are payable direct to the homeowner at the start of your booking and cover the costs at the airport. However, you must make an enquiry first to ensure that we are available before you book. We started providing this service way back in 2012, since then we have continued to look after a number of regular frequent flyers with absolutely 100% satisfaction.
