I paid for 24 hour parking on a six nations game day to find there were no spaces available. No one on site and had to pay meter parking or would have missed the game. There were 3 other cars in same situation.

We timed it right as there was only one space left, there was another car that came in behind us and couldn't park.

On the night the parking was fine, the carpark was practically empty and I could park where I liked.
What concerned me beforehand was after doing a little research the carpark belonged to a university and the entrance had a lifting barrier with a sensor you need a card for.
In the picture the app said used for reference you can see the barrier closed and a sign saying university private property. I had no idea until I arrived on site if the barrier would be up or down, if it was down how to get in, would it somehow recognise my registration and let me in or would I have to find the number to the university building and see if they could open it. There was nothing to explain that on the app or website.
Someone from my workplace at the same time used the app and Parked in another carpark 100 yards down the road inside a hotel carpark. When he arrived the carpark was full, he had to find somewhere else to park basically being ripped off.
I think the app can work but it doesn't state a spot will be reserved that you've paid for or that they aren't responsible if the actual company that operates the carpark has kept a spot open for you. I wonder how many people have been ripped off by this. Please add more information to the carparks you please from.

Some spaces would be very tight for medium size cars. I was ok as parked in the middle spaces with lots of space but side spaces would not have fit without sticking out

Couldn't find the car park as we didn't get there till late so parked in another car park. Address wasn't correct.
