Smollensky's has smartened up a bit for Canary Wharf, with a hint of shellfish with bubbly added to the comfortable Smollensky's mix of updated Art Deco furnishings and an all-American menu. In fact, Smollensky's still manages to offer something for nearly everyone. It's great for business lunches and after-work drinks, and for rather more romantic dinners a deux, then goes all family -friendly for the weekend. The view over the docks from the terrace is charming in the sun.
