A lively café/bar/restaurant with an intriguing menu, Paradiso attracts vivacious, adventurous, young crowds who packs the booths and seem never to want to leave. Maybe it's because the service is infectiously friendly. Maybe it's the bags of style the award-winning owners have employed to transform this former print works. Maybe it's the affordable Italian menu with its North African touches. Or perhaps Paradiso just has 'it' - that indefinable something that makes a restaurant swing. Set on three levels, the open-plan kitchen upstairs is a focal point sometimes overtaken by the appearance of local sports and pop celebs. Menu includes starter of chicken, honey and ginger brochette with cucumber and lime salad, main course of sea bass tagine, and dessert of pecan nut chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream. Al fresco seating.
