Average Price: £25 - £34
It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant's décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago.
This restaurant has 2 sittings; the first is from 7pm, with all tables returned by 9.15pm. The second sitting is from 9.30pm onwards
The restaurant does ask for a minimum spend of £15 per person not including wine. They also only serve a la carte dining at the restaurant tables and not tapas only.
This restaurant requires a credit card to secure a reservation for groups of 8 persons or more. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per person.
This is now a NON-SMOKING restaurant.
