This neighbourhood eaterie is where Wapping-dwellers go when in the mood for classic American brasserie style dishes served in swanky, Big Apple style surroundings. Décor is deep plum and cream, complemented by an eye-catching mix light fittings. Seating is largely leather banquettes separated by frosted glass partition screens. Choose from a selection of starters, dishes from the grill, platters to share, mains from the kitchen, sandwiches and salads, and daily changing lunch specials. Rumour has it the 8oz homemade burger with pickles and chips (or mash) is well worth trying. There's even a weekend brunch menu for when you get up late but aren't ready for a big lunch. A real local crowd pleaser.
