Please read our reviews for an indication of the standard of service we offer..............        Position  We are about a 5 minute drive to the Stansted Airport terminal and 3 to 4 minutes walk to the railway station serving London to Cambridge line and airport (with one change) and very close to a bus stop serving the airport. Parking  We have a large private driveway and parking area that accomodates many more cars than the spaces we offer. The tarmaced driveway is gated and has security lights and your car will be in view of our house at all times and hidden from the road, at least in summer, by a hedge. Transfers- Let us know the dates and times of your proposed stay and we will quickly reply  with advice on the cheapest and quickest options for you to get to and from the terminal.   Short Stays    We take bookings for stays of less than 5 days but a minimum charge    of £25 applies

Taxi to/from Stansted Airport takes approximately 10 minutes and costs £12 for a prebooked taxi (may run late) to £16 for a taxi on the rank (no waiting).  The 308 bus service is now running 24/7. We are 5 minute walk to bus stop for 308 service to airport (half hourly service Mon to Sat,  hourly Sundays/Bank Holidays). A single ticket to/from the airport is £2.40. The bus leaves the airport from bus stop 25. We are within walking distance of Bishops Stortford mainline railway station (1 mile 15-20 min walk) or 5 minute taxi ride at approx £3 to £5. With links to Cambridge/Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street/Stratford. The train from the airport to Bishops Stortford station runs every 30 minutes between early morning and midnight. A single ticket costs around £4.20. Please check National Express train services for current timetables and prices.    We use the standard PAMH parking agreements.    Details of a holiday small pet sitting service available on request.

Parking is on a private drive at the end of a cul de sac it is fully lit during the hours of darkness. We have seven spaces plus two garages that can be used for convertables etc, this is subject to availability, no additional charge is made for these. I have an Audi A3 so I can only accommodate four people. The local dedicated bus to the airport stops at the end of our road (about 200 metres) should you wish to avail yourself of it. The journey time with stops is 40 minutes.Lift to terminal is no problem as I am now retired. I charge £6.00 to take you and £8.00 for the return trip as BAA charge £2.00 for pick up parking (minimum 15 mins) waiting time.Transfers to the terminal is between 6.00am and 24.00pm outside of these hours is negotiable.
