Details -A Parkatmyhouse member since May 2010. This is a large private drive with security lighting alongside our family home. The property is a detached bungalow on a quiet side road in a very nice, residential area of Southampton. It is very safe to park and easy to reverse in to or out of with almost no through traffic. The drive will comfortably accommodate seven cars. Enclosed by large shrubbery, it is very private as can be seen in the recently taken photograph. Your car is safe and secure parked on our drive. We work from home so your car is rarely left unattended during daylight hours and never over night. Your car is very well looked after and for longer stays we will turn the engine over on a regular basis. This is the perfect and worry free place to park your car while you enjoy your holiday. (see reviews) We have taken care of customers cars since May 2010 without complaint but with plenty of praise. We are easily found from junction 8 M27 and we will send printable directions to your e-mail address if you wish that will bring you to our front door. We are very close to the docks/cruise, IOW ferry terminals and Southampton airport, all being only 10 minutes away. We are able to offer a drop off and pick up service for a small fee (cheaper than local taxis that must be booked in advance). We have a Large Volvo V70 estate car and small trailer, we can accommodate 4 people and 6/7 standard sized suitcases with room left for 4-5 standard sized hand luggage. Payment - We are happy to accept cash on arrival, or if you prefer, you can do a bank transfer beforehand - please contact us for further details if you wish to pay in this way.    Availability - Any queries? Please contact us, as at times we may appear to be fully booked. This can be due to an overlap of cars leaving in the morning. This makes that day appear fully booked when often we DO!! have room, though the site says not - we will be happy to help and accommodate you wherever possible.  A cup of tea always ready on arrival if required. I have 2 spaces for off-road parking in a quiet well-lit road as well as 2 spaces in private lockable garages close to my house. I also have 2 extra available spaces on my near neighbour's paved drive when parking demand is high.They all benefit from speedy access to all the Cruise ship terminals and ferries from Town Quay. The address is handily located within 5 minutes drive from the M271 and 10 minutes from J14(Southampton Central exit) of the M3. Included in the parking service is drop-off and collection at the onward travel terminal you require in my luxury minibus which seats up to 7 passengers in comfort including your luggage. There is a small charge to cover fuel cost of transfer. During busy periods larger vehicle pricing may be charged for cars over 4.7mtrs. in length. NB. ALL REVENUE EARNED FROM THESE PARKING SPACES GO TOWARDS SUPPORTING AND TRAINING YOUNG PEOPLE IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. Ideal for Cruise ship users....In Southampton there are 5 terminals.. city 101 is the closest and QE2 and Ocean are are a bit further away.. the fares should be around £5-7 during the day.. takes around 4-5 mins to city terminal 101 and maybe 10 to the others depending on traffic..
