A taxi to York Station will cost approx £5, therefore this makes the idea spot to park to avoid paying over-valued parking at the adjacent station for a number of days. 15 mins walk away provides access to local facilities/shops/banks. The parking bay is also ideal if you live nearby and lack offsite parking, or simply wish to park in a more secure location. It has a double opening gate which is not loackable, but cannot be seen from any roads.
