Parking space for 2 cars on the private drive of a semi-detached bungalow in a quiet residential area. Available daily (no long term bookings).  If you book with me, please assume you will make your own travel arrangements to get to and from the airport. This is because the Park at My House instant booking option does not provide a mechanism to discuss details before making a booking. If I can offer a free lift to the airport I will contact you after you have booked to discuss.  Please be aware that the bus does now run 24/7 however between 07:30 to 09:05 it runs via a different route (Mon-Sat). The last bus before this time is 07:25 and resumes with the 09:10.  Please allow to arrive about 25 mins before the bus time to allow for parking and walking to the bus stop 6-7 mins.  Buses can be early.  The Bus stop is Cherry Gardens and falls between B Stortford Stansted Rd (Church) and Snowley Parade.  Please read on for further Bus info.[/b]
[b]I DO NOT COLLECT FROM THE AIRPORT. Once you have booked, I will contact you nearer the booking date to give you details of which parking space to use and to check you have received my information pack.  We are close to M11 roundabout Junction 8 Bishops Stortford/ Stansted Airport. We are 5 miles from Stansted Airport.Taxi to/from Stansted Airport takes approximately 10 minutes and costs £12 24/7 (£18 bank holidays) for a prebooked taxi (may run late) to £16 for a taxi on the rank (no waiting).The 308 bus service is now running 24/7. We are 6-7 minute walk from the bus stop for 308 service to airport (half hourly service Mon to Sat,hourly Sundays/Bank Holidays and takes 15 mins). A single ticket to/from the airport is £2.60. The bus leaves the airport from bus stop 25.We are within walking distance of Bishops Stortford mainline railway station (1 mile15-20 min walk) or 5 minute taxi ride to the station at approx £4 to £5.Bishops Stortford station has links to Cambridge/Stansted Airport and LondonLiverpool Street/Stratford. The train from the airport to Bishops Stortfordstation runs every 30 minutes between early morning and midnight. A single ticket costs around £4.20. Please check National Express train services for current timetables and prices.
