So the reaction I have received has been phenomenal. Thank you to everyone who has e-mailed me with messages of support and encouragement. Today I have had over 40,000 hits which makes over 100,000 for the last 3 days. I am still pinching myself.

Within the next couple of days we aim to roll out a new category of listings to our UK site… Universities.

University parking is known to be a nightmare and who better to have a side income than ‘poor’ students. Students, Staff and visitors will be able to choose the university they need to park near and using my close proximity search feature, will locate all advertised parking spaces within 2 miles of the campus.

Yesterday was possibly one of the most fun and tiring days i’ve had in a long time. Thanks to my press release I was invited to attend the BBC Radio London studios. In addition to that I also did BBC Wales at the same time and am live on air in Newcastle, Birmingham and will be on Radio Five Live over the next few days.

This was a first for me. The most fame i’ve ever had was from scoring a hat trick for my local football team and getting my picture in the paper. The interview went well and as soon as I receive the CD from the station I will put it online for you to listen to.

I had an idea not that long ago in San Francisco. Why don’t local residents close to major sports stadiums do what they do every year around the time of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships?. Rent out their driveway for a fee each day and save drivers the hassle of circling the ground for hours and eventually paying extortionate car park fees.

Everyone finds it frustrating having to leave 5 minutes early just to avoid the huge car park lines at the end of the games. I am hoping Park at my House.com goes some way to reducing that frustration.

Today the site went live and I sent out a press release to tell the world about my idea. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what people think - I will be in touch soon.
